“I have my own idea of what a wine should tell.”

Riccardo Zanotto here. I was born in the heart of the Prosecco Docg hills, in Conegliano, in 1965. It is here that my roots run deep, and here that my journey to rediscover authenticity began.
From the very beginning, I held a clear idea: every bottle bearing my name must carry with it the bond to this land, an echo of the traditions I cherish, and fragments of Italy that I have had the fortune to discover, traverse, and truly live.



My wines are born from this vision. There are the Metodo Martinotti-Charmat sparkling and semi-sparkling wines, elegant and lively, and the “Col Fondo” (Unfiltered Sparkling wines), a tribute to tradition with their natural sediments. Among these, Zanotto Col Fondo is the heart of my production: a frizzante wine crafted for over fifteen years with Glera grapes and refermentation in the bottle on its lees. It is the symbol of my philosophy, one made of simplicity and naturalness, in harmony with those who seek a genuine and vibrant wine.

Because a wine can truly tell a story, a profound journey is necessary. This journey begins with the search for the finest grapes, carefully chosen from vineyards such as my family’s in Tarzo or those of producers in other territories who share my values. But the path does not end there. It is an exploration that delves into the soul of the land – whether clayey or calcareous, hilly or flat – where every nuance is reflected in the wine’s character. A journey that embraces traditions, the wisdom passed down through generations, and the patience to respect the rhythms of nature. By uniting these elements with cellar techniques and the invaluable collaboration of an expert oenologist, together we succeed in transforming an idea into a wine that knows how to speak, exalting the unique character of each origin, from my hills to those places I have come to know and love.



Creating my wines, especially the “col fondo” frizzante wines, is for me like being a storyteller. It’s not just about working with good grapes, but about choosing them, guiding them, and weaving them together with care, to bring to life a tale that is both authentic and surprising. It is a commitment that blends quality, taste, and respect for the past, with attention to every detail, much like crafting a fine book. Ultimately, every bottle is a page of my story.



This passion for the territory does not stop at wine. This is how Birra Campea was born, brewed with the same dedication here, among our hills, to capture the soul of these places. And then there’s Gin Ferro 7, a distillate that encapsulates seven Italian botanicals, a journey from north to south inspired by my love for golf and the pursuit of perfect balance. These creations are natural extensions of my curiosity and my method: exploring the territory in search of excellence.
Every creation is a way to explore with enthusiasm and respect the possibilities that this land bestows. My desire is to share an experience that takes us back to the stories of the past, to a genuine and heartfelt sip lived together. I hope that every taste is a fragment of my story.
